7 Minutes in Shoe Heaven

Perhaps not known for their shoes, but rather their flattering and stylish jeans, 7 for All Mankind makes incredible shoes and I'm having fun scouting out new soles.

Rough and Ready

I've got big plans for 2011 and they include:
  1. A sheer wardrobe
  2. Heavy Print
  3. Bare legs
  4. Fur
  5. The woods

Tribal Style

Los Angeles is a playground and fashion is my toy - the more I play, the happier I am and LF is the tops as well you know.

This outdoorsy collection fits well with the California heat and the layers work for the erratic weather we've been having.  Tribal prints, knee socks, boots and fur - the essential elements that work so well as separates are all seamlessly incorporated into all these looks.  I'm obsessed.

Grow Up, but Keep Your Cool

I don't follow the seasons or stick to one collection - The Row has such amazing pieces and the looks compiled for their pre-fall 2010 collection continue to inspire me so call me tacky, but I still love the sheer, the high-waisted, beige and black, leather, pleated... it's an easy and elegant transition into adulthood and chicness that I aspire to have.

Bulletproof

My friend has incredible taste in jewelry - her style trends toward the tomboy look, but she always pairs her outfits with a great funky piece of jewelry.  Recently she wore a necklace by Nikki Montoya and after some investigation, I'm a fan - here are some choice finds...

In the Bag

Sure, why not?  These Marc Jacobs bags are flawless - great for the crook of your arm or just to swing back and forth and really work with any look - leather and lace preferred, always.
